grandkids

Had all my grandchildren here this past week. It was a really nice week. At one point I walked outside and they were all sitting on the swing together, so I had to get the camera. Getting them to all look at me and smile wasn't too easy, but it was nice that they were all getting along so well.

Goofy walking stick

Finally finished the walking stick of Goofy that I have been putting off for months, and sweating bullets about. I have just had a mental block about how to go about carving this. I have looked at multiple pictures and made a trial practice piece ( which looks like Junior) . I finished carving him this weekend and painted it up on Monday. took some pictures of it which C. took out to work and the the man who wanted it is thrilled with it. he is taking the pictures home tonight to show his wife and wants C. to bring it out to work tomorrow. This is how it turned out.I am still not that happy with it ,but if the client is happy than I am happy.
